Here is a young male that I have and he looks nothing like your youngster. I think you have a little hen as well. I am with Zazouse, the photos scream hen!

His neck is coloring in nicely but in a royal blue almost purple color. I bought Mom and Dad at a sale when they were young still. They were sold as Silver Pied White Eyed. I dont care what they are I like them just would like to know what I got.

This is Mom and Dad Dad has about 5 half white eyes in his tail this year, they are 4 years old now.

OK i understand the photo was taken a couple weeks ago but how old is the pea at the time the photo was taken, like 6 months,a year, two years

It is a very rich royal blue/purple color coming in. Moms neck is more green with a bluish tint in the direct sun.

The color has not come in around the front of the neck or over the head just the back of the neck so far.
