Show off your Peas!

Congrats on the Violettas! I can't wait to see more pictures of them!
Thanks Blue Creek, we are pretty excited and very grateful to Connerhills for sharing them with us. They have settled in nicely and are out of quarantine now, the male was displaying this afternoon.

Eye Candy Alert!
Are those Violetas!? The neck feathers on the hens appear to dark to be Purples and the peacock neck feathers look like an in between point between a Purple and Blue peacock.

Edit: I'm guessing they are based on your last comment. I can't wait to see the peacock fanning and the peachicks! Whenever they have some. How old are they?

The girls are especially pretty, IMO...

Perhaps at some point you'll let us put some pictures of them on the Image Database?

They are Violettas, and we have a 2 yr. old pair, a 1 yr. old hen and a 3 yr. old male who is split Violetta and we think he has some green blood. The hens look nothing like my Purple girls, and at some point I'll get pics of them together to show the difference, the male is very dark and his train feathers are totally different from my Purple males train. I got to see a mature Violetta White Eye at George's place and he was stunning. I also got to see the Violetta with the curly tail, my hubby doesn't really get too excited about my Peas, but he is still talking about that curly tail. I am kind of surprised he didn't try to get George to sell that one, considering the impression it obviously made on him.
