These rather unspectacular photos are an attempt to capture the green and bronze sheen from my peahen's tail coverts.
I'm putting her with the white rooster in the background for her first season this year.
Is she Dark pied or split white ? ( White spot ).
With the White peacock a dark pied female will give you 100% pied peachicks!
But if this peahen is a split white ... you will get 50% white peachicks and 50% IB.
She's a Dark Pied! I'm pretty excited to see her chicks.
The mutation Blue Pied is by far the most beautiful mutation!
