Show off your Peas!

Got my first eye feather from Owen today. Must've just fallen out accidentally! It's not very big, but it's beautiful and it's the perfect size for me to keep! :)

I have only seen him display facing me once, the other times he's been shy, peeked around his train at me to see if I was looking, then quickly turned around and faced the other way. Silly shy boy. And of course the one time he faced me I didn't have my camera out. Next nice day I will try to snap some updated pics of the gang and share them. :)

Mine do not like to display when I am watching them. They do not know me well enough yet. I had surely thought I would have them home by now and have a regular schedule.
I keep finding Hershey's eye feathers when I go over to check and feed them. There are 3 peas in one 10x10 stall. They have been there at least 2 years. I don't like that and can't wait to get them home but building is slow going right now.

Cute!

Fellow peafanciers,,I've been tortured by all the new pics especially from those living in the southern states. Got word from another pea breeder that lives about 4 hours south of me in Indiana that she has fertile eggs in the bator already.(Bigcreekpoultry) Although the past week I've heard the males inside Pea Palace doing their famous ahhh--hahh breeding call nothing else seemed too exciting here except watching the males trains grow longer, and longer.
Today while doing chores Roadtrip decided to let me see him in full colors. These first 2 pics he was busy maneuvering for a hen and wasn't cooperating too well. Heres whats been growing inside the Palace for the past few months. Here is Roadtrip,my black shoulder silver pied coming 6 year old male.
