Mine are not locked up in that pen, they just went in to check out the new arrivals but they don't fight for days at a time like roosters, they do sometimes chase each outher all day long then the next day all is fine for about a week then someone will be chasing someone else.
Yea , have a crazy Muscovy i caught a while back being broody without eggs so i put some goose eggs under her, darn thing hatched them alright but would fly off and leave them and then would not leave the nest even though there were no more eggs .. darn duck is still on the nest ain't an egg under her.. i got lots of broodie chicken hens like that.. they make me crazy.. if i let them sit i have to make sure i pull the chicks as they hatch cause crazy birds will not leave the nest with the chicks.
Very pretty in a very nice pen!I'm so jealous of you zaz I'm not brave enought to free range them especially after my experience with escapes but they're still pretty in the pen
