I also looked at their tails and tried to picture them as all white and I think I'd be able to tell the difference. On the boy, the top layer of feathers are shaped differently and are as long as the bottom ones, but Green's top layer are much shorter than the ones on the bottom. Sorry, wish I could explain it better.

Here is my 12 month old...and yes I'm sure he's only 1

His top tail feathers look more delicate/finer and longer than the hens.

No! Lol! I live in Montana where it gets -30....I have a heated roost for them and would turn a heat lamp on during the coldest of nights. I got him from a good breeder, so I'd say it's just in his genetics

Ok, after a long agonizing night last night knowing that I have to come to terms with knowing that after a year of thinking I had a IB white peacock and now realizing that I have a IB white hen, I took pics on yesterday.

Here we go. What do ya'll think? I only too tail pics because I figured you all could tail from the tail. :/ :idunno
