Show off your Peas!

Seems like yesterday he hatched out, he has turned into a handsome fella.

Who Peep? I still can't believe he will be 3 next year! He has been such a good bird. Peep is like one of those birds you see in a bird show or something he is just so friendly. He is nice to people, but he doesn't let the white peacock display and I think he might be the one picking Ice's crest feathers off, but hopefully I can get a pen just for Peep and a peahen to go with him. It is hard to tell if Peep likes any peahens at the moment. The white peacock, Frosty, who is about the same age as Peep, likes Damsel and Alto likes Xena, My yearling males are too young at the moment to have any peahen interests. The only peahens they like are their moms. Ice's son often lies down next to her while she is on the nest. I have noticed Ice's offspring will often give her company while she nests which goes back to something I read about wild green peafowl offspring staying with their mother sometimes to help raise her new chicks. I like how they give her company.

Peep, what a sweetie!

What's wrong with kids these days, they eat the mealworms out of their salad and refuse to eat the greens...

"Sorry Mom, mealworms are just tastier!" sez Peggy.

Thanks you are very talented too!
I want to do another green peafowl drawing in color, but I always hate to use color because I am afraid I will mess up the picture unless if it is something I am drawing in photoshop. I need to learn how to paint.

Couple of 2013 Peachicks.

Very cute

It worked.. yea more to come mabe if it keeps working
So glad you're posting pictures again!!!

These aren't my peas, but this is a drawing I finished today. I drew this photo of some wild imperators:

I hope it doesn't look too grainy. The higher resolution I make the scanner, the blurrier my drawings look, but the less and they look a bit grainy.
Very nice, Please post when you do in color as well.

Beautiful artwork.
you can take a photo of your work instead of scanning it and it will look awesome, I did it for years when selling my artwork.

Mamma Lucy- Took the peachicks into the garage and was trying to teach them to perch on the van! Not funny, but funny in a naughty kinda way.

I was thinking I should try just taking a photo of it. The house lighting at night is too yellow so I will have to take the photo in the day time when I can get some good lighting.
So do you do paintings? Hopefully this weekend I can go to the flea market and sell some dichroic glass jewelry.
