I don't understand why some peoples Peacocks drop their displays when you show up.I literally, during breeding season have to move several of my males train out of the way to get by him to put feed out. Many of my breeding Peacocks has a diffrent attitude towards me during breeding season. This time of year they tolerate me as I do nightly chores. they will fly up on their perches and eat bread, bananas, corn, ect from my hand but if I don't have treats they would rather avoid me.But come late March and the showing off begins,if they are trying to give a peahen the stinkeye,I can touch their trains, push them aside, whatever and they practically ignore me.Roadtrip is the best example since his train only leaves about 8" on each side of the pen,if he's standing right.Opie is another who could care less about me being within inches of him.
