Wow that would be great! I have some elephant ears I got from my friend but they are not getting very big so far. I am wondering if the soil at my Grandma's is just not good for growing huge elephant ears. I might try growing them here instead. They might work well where all the water falls off of our house when it rains.I agree! Patch is something Minxfox I totally missed all the bands on the baby greens .. It was later in the day when i got there and way overcast. But as my son loves to tell me all the time, "No excuse for not being more observant Dad" lol! My bad there.Sorry.Yea I believe that was that big boy in the flight pen. I could easily tell the burmese but not so much on some of the others. I wish they would have been in the front of the pens like you said. Thank goodness for all your wonderful pics. I just have an Iphone4 for taking pics and even then im outta focus sometimes.Anyways, I have elephant ears and bananas here. Mine are not quite as big as theirs of course, especially them banana trees. Wow! But they are the same exact varieties. I got my elephant ears off a lady in Ft Walton that had them bigger than those if you can believe it!!! She said hers were well over 10 years old. If you come by here one day to see the birds I will dig some up to give you some of each to take home with you. Even in a year they will be plenty big, I have plenty if you want some.![]()
