I saw your photos in the contest.
I saw your photos in the contest.I was amazed at how the colors look in this photo. He is so green looking it is like you played with the color settings, but I know you didn't. It is just so neat how their colors change in different light. That is such a nice green color!
Wow any of these would have been great in the striking fowl contest, beautiful birds and lots of pretty colorsI have no idea of what to submit for the Striking Male Fowl contest... I simply do not have favorites, only birds that I temporarily do not like! I knew this is show off your peas, but lets just say these birds all live with my peas, and there are some peas in the running. I do have plenty of pictures of each, so what bird should I choose?
Red Golden Pheasant
Lady Amherst Pheasant
Temminck's Tragopan. I so badly want a picture of a frontal display. But he has been removed of hen privileges, so no more displays...
White Peacock
Opal WE Peacock
Impeyan Pheasant. That was taken today when he had feathers sticking out. He is a challenge to photograph but his colors in sunlight are stunning. I can always get better ones.
Smew Drake. I took that today, and couldn't find the nice ones I have of him.
Silver Wood Duck Drake
Regular Wood Duck Drake. I got some good ones of him today.
This was taken today as well. He is gorgeous when he displays in the sun, but he never does when I have a camera...
