Show off your Peas!

I finally got the report back from what killed Calypso. The cause of death was from 2 unidentified parasites that caused two diseases Acute Necrotizing Hemorrhagic Enterocolitis, and Multifocal Periportal Hepatitis. They recommended Safeguard to prevent the parasites.
Was the word histomoniasis in the report?

and this is the first time i have seen a black shouldered with white flights, very pretty boy.

Looks grrrreat!

Thanks so much! The boys all went out and stalked the perimeters and puffed all up and yelled a lot, the hens ignored them and took much needed dust bathes. We still have a lot of finishing touches I'd like to do, but they are usable in the meantime.

Zaz, the BS is Poppie my testosterone challenged time-out boy, he is quite unusual, he started out with red flights like a typical BS and as the years go by he gets more and more white, the large black wing feathers have developed white tips and most of his eyes have a cloudy looking white spot in the middle, obviously WE just never saw it manifest that way?

Can you explain?

Loud Pied ... and Dark pied ... are not the same ?
Loud Pied and White pied ... are the same ?

Loud Pied = 50% white 50% color. 1 white gene + 1 pied gene + 1 White Eye gene. If 2 White Eye genes he would probably be considered silver pied.
Dark Pied = 2 Pied genes, no White genes and 1 White Eye gene, if he has 2 White Eye genes he would be Dark Pied White Eye.

I have never heard the term "white pied" ???? Unless that is an all white bird who's white masks pied underneath? Don't even know if that is possible, anyone else know?

Please understand, I am no expert here, the information above is what I was told by other members of this forum, when I asked the same question.
