BTW, great pictures!I don't know if it is because he molted and has grown in fresh new feathers or if it is the quality of fall sunlight, but Fred looks so blue this time of year he almost glows. He doesn't look like this the rest of the year, in the spring he looks much greener and over the winter the gold tones are really strong. I am leaning toward thinking it is the angle of the sun in the sky at different times of year.![]()
