Oh, if they are the same age then it is obviously a hen.

If it's the one I think it is, it's 2-3 days older than mine, and my pictures are a week old.Oh, if they are the same age then it is obviously a hen.
I would still bet the house that is a hen. The wing feathers above the reddish flights are creamy white with a dark speckled line running down the center, males at this age are getting a much darker feather there with a different pattern. Tail feathers are different as well Males get a dark pattern on their's that looks almost like Camo, Peep's appear almost all white still. I have had several BS hens with a bit of green on the neck and I believe New2 has posted several photos showing their BS hen with lots of green on her neck. Your's just looks way too light colored for it's age unless it is a hen.
5 month BS male..... note the darker wings and dark pattern on the tail.
If you still have doubts take several good pictures from the top down, front and sides and start a new thread or do a guess the gender poll, we haven't had one of those for a while!
He, she was 2 mo old in the pix. I think that I have a mixture of both one day he looks like a boy and a week later she looks like a girl. It is 20• out there now. I am going to wait until it warns up a little before I get some more pix!
For us to have snow so early in Oklahoma is weird!
