Show off your Peas!

This is Peep isn't she pretty?!?

Okay, so you have seven of them, right? Can you identify individual birds, or are they just seven interchangeable parts right now?

Edited to add: In other words, when you look at your birds, do you know which one you are looking at and remember which bird it is (say Sam or Fred or Aunt June), or can you personally not tell them apart one from the other yet?

two are banded the other five came from someone else...so the two yep I know which they are...but I read its hard to sex white peafowl until almost a year....any advice...I know I have one male ib, I male pied and one hen ib white eye

Try looking at the tail feathers. If you can get them to perch on your arm tilt them to make them fan their tail feathers to balance and have a camera to take the pic.

we just butchered about twenty of them and none of them had worms...we checked the insides and dissected them...and they are not around any other birds (ie pheasants or peafowl)
so were good

some worms are too small to see, and there's always the possibility of stuff coming in from the wild tweety birds... glad you didn't have intestines full of big round worms, though. @casportpony must be super busy tonight, or she'd be all over this worm thing

Well see if you can get @zazouse to look at your picture... she's awesome with whites. Me, not so much. I'm thinking I see maybe 4 hens? Not sure it's gonna do you any good until you can visually tell them apart... You might wanna put up a couple more pictures to make it a little easier. I could be 100% wrong, so don't bank on my guess. Lots of other people on here better at this than I am.

But if it lays an egg, I usually figure it's a girl.
