I've seen Mercury. It's cool seeing it roll up into a ball.

Yeah, my dad had some in jars when I was little... usually kids don't get to see it anymore cuz it's pretty toxic (don't touch it!) but my dad had all kinds of weird stuff in his workshop back then.

Thanks! Here he is as a baby... see the spots on his head? I think it is very cool... they are still there

He was still pretty exhausted... had a very hard time hatching, then had to wear shoes for a few days. But you can see he turned out well when he grew up

Here he is with the love of his life... he only managed to hatch, I think, because she kept calling him. (And then there was the eventual human intervention

)



She's the one that's chunking out all the eggs right now. She is Black Shoulder and split to either white or pied. Believed to be IB BS, but no chicks on the ground yet, and she came from a "mixed" pen. The chicks look the same color, but they aren't....
