We are having another miserable cold day, rained all night long and the birds are soaked. Don't stop Annie from making her rounds and checking on all the peas.
This keeps up i am going to be under water soon

only good thing is i will know for sure were to raise the ground up for the greens i am getting in may.
Could someone send my some sunshine ASAP i am starting to get depressed

From today poor peas were running from the barn to the new building all morning long.



Annie keeps checking on the birds which cause them to go back into the rain when she comes threw the barn, she is such a great guardian but i wished she would just chill some where till this lets up.

I can tell its been raining here too, there is ice on everything. Didn't do a thing for the two inch cracks in the ground.

Thanks for posting this, i miss him so much but it is getting easier, his white brother has taken up with me alot more he waits outside the door for me to come out especial in this rain, this keeps up he is going to be over weight

I can't help but give him something to eat, today has been a banana. cheese and cabbage kinda day.

Our animals are always well-fed & cared for, but have taken back seat a little as we get into the groove of bottle feeding some coon hound pups we had to bring in to save. My Chihuahua mix is "mothering" them somewhat...the 1st ones started nursing & got her to start producing milk, but now there's 5 & even tho we've been feeding all along, we're trying to monitor how much they nurse so as not to deplete her calcium. Giving her vitamins & goodies to try to counter that. Due to their potential size, they'll need to get on food very early on, but this isn't our first time. At least she's there for them & does clean them & all.

I thought I forgot the peas treat yesterday, but remembered they did get eggs. I'll need to get something together for them before I go make my egg-checking rounds & help Joe feed.

Can anyone tell me how to post more than one pic from my phone, or IF it's possible to do so? Thanks.

Wish I could send you some sun, but we've been cloudy all week with more snow coming tonight & tomorrow.

Well the rain stopped for a bit and the pea were out foraging for food, then the bottom fell out again and they headed back to the big blue barn, some did not want to wade threw the rising waters and can be seen in the photos flying over them.















Hoss found a snake, figured the birds killed it it was pretty mangled



Should we stay or should we go that is the question, darn rain.
