Show off your Peas!

people from cold areas...have you had issues with in between toes by the webbing start to crack and bleed...one of my white has a little blood inbetween her toes...?
Bird man do you have heat lamps in your barn? It might be a good idea during the winter a year ago we had a real bad winter almost a peacock die but after I put a heat lamp up they go go near it whenever they felt like to warm up and if it's cold enough to where they're webbing is bleeding it might be a good idea for u to get one just make sure it's set up to where they can determine how close they want to get to it so they don't burn themselves

Had one get spider bit between the toes looked like a crack but when i looked closer i could see the fang marks and it was cold outside so spiders can bit in the cold, it took a couple weeks for it to bleed and heal

looked like a hole after the first week.

Never heard of birds dieing down here from the cold and i have had all kinds of free ranged birds go threw an ice storm back in 1997 which we rarely have, folks were without power for weeks around here.
last year even my young peafowl got iced over up in the trees, i had no losses at all.

I have 100's of guineas at any given time and i still got spiders, they are great for eating the onces they can reach but do nothing for the populations that live in the high rises

those are the onces i get bit by almost monthly, i swear they are gonna make me hate them some day

I have one that weaves a web every night in my little window on my side door, there is a light there and she racks up on bugs all night long, they tear her web up so she rebuilds it over and over, i like to watch her.

Last yr I moved some concrete blocks in the pea pen and a black widow and her lg egg sack were in the middle. Big Blue was watching me. I went to get a stick to kill it with. When I got back the black widow and her eggs were no where to be seen. Big Blue almost had a smile on his face! He ate them!
