If you will look at the photo of her again you will notice she lacks the dark head of the cameo but does favor the lighter head of the Oateneven during a molt my cameo kept the dark head

Consider me educated!!![]()
My cameo came from a black shouldered hen and a cameo peacock so they may turn out oaten or cameo according the the folks i got her from as you see she turned out to be a cameo color. In my 2014 hatch both of my Oaten chicks are cocks, I didn't get an Oaten hen. It did prove that the IBBS cock they came out of is split Cameo, but it is odd that none of the Cameo hen/chicks were Oaten.
Thanks for the warm welcome! Love that photo too! She got a week of 9.6% liquid solution Cordid just after this pic was taken-that was in November. Was treating for possible Coccidiosis, saw a couple of bloody stools and didn't want to take any chances.
Thanks so much! She is really pretty! Hope she makes it cause we really like her a lot, very sweet disposition and not shy at all. Lets us come right up to her and pet her or give her treats.Glad you made it over True!
Great group here!
I also believe she's looking down. You already know I thought she looked like a Cameo.Very Pretty soft colors.![]()
IMO she needs to be wormed and should be at least every 3 months when housed with other birds, worms can bring them down, make them droopy and in peafowl they can also cause other problem related to a worm load. Thanks for the warm welcome!
