Well, I'm currently in confusion about the color. The guy who was selling her was also selling 6 others (three boys and three girls, one BS male and one BS female), who all looked just like this in coloration, but when I asked him what color they were (I was thinking maybe purple w/e but I wanted to find out for sure) and he told me 'cameo'.... .... I'm pretty darn certain she's not cameo, not with that super-purple neck shine. But, none of the three males had any sort of W/E showing. This is from the 3y/o's train:What color is she? Seems everybody is getting new birds. I went to a bird auction and found a White yearling male and female. Sadly I only got the male. I bought him for $36. The hen I bid and then the guy decided to jump the bid from $25 to $60. I didn't have enough money for the both so I had to give in. But I got two hens that need a male so they have the white one.

That's what I'm thinking, too. She's REALLY pretty like this, so I kind of hope she keeps the colors. We don't get a whole lot of sun in Michigan but whenever we do I come home to "dead peafowl syndrome" - all the birds laying flopped out in the dirt under as much sun as they can get, giving me an instant heart attackShe's a sun-faded purple, I'd bet on it.
SweePea looks just like her except she has a Purple neck where yours looks Blue in these pics. I also have two more siblings of SweePeas, but their backs are solid. Same pen, same everything, but the difference is night and day. I'll get you a pic so you can see. That's what I'm thinking, too. She's REALLY pretty like this, so I kind of hope she keeps the colors. Unfortunately the pics do not do this girl justice in the iridescence arena... her neck is SUPER purple in person, way more so than my purple pied girl.SweePea looks just like her except she has a Purple neck where yours looks Blue in these pics.
