I love my little babies! Blue and Charlie are 3 weeks old soon to be 4 weeks this weekend. Echo and Delta are now 1 week soon 2 weeks.

Blue is starting to grow a crest!

Charlie's crest feathers are set in place!

Thank you! My mom loves horseshoes and puts them everywhere around the house. I love having peachicks and my peahen's eggs are beginning to hatch. I found the top of an egg shell near her nest. I'm not going to touch any egg shells until she gets off the nest, I don't feel like getting bit or scratched.

Thank you! I think my peahen's eggs are hatching. I found an egg shell in front of her, heard cheeping, but I can't find any peachicks. I'm not going to touch her since I don't know if she will attack or not. Last thing I want is being attacked by a protective mom.

I posted on the hatching thread but wanted to post here too.

Assisted hatch but it has a lump on it's head. Anyone experience this or know what I might be dealing with.
I don't know the breed as it was purchased off eBay sooo

I will have to candle it and then see what to do with it. I think it was the first egg she got to keep. She layed the first egg and then had a little hiccup for 4 days, then layed the second egg, then in 2 days she layed the third, another 2 days, she layed the fourth, and then another 2 days the fifth and then she began to brood. It seems more on the heavy side but doesn't smell dead. I'm going to candle it soon.

Here is the first of 11 pea eggs. They are Mindy's eggs! We wanted to see if my new bator (GQF Sportsman Cabinet) would hatch them. It had done a fantastic job on my guineas! It has a friend with it, a baby guinea!
