Show off your Peas!

I got my second egg today. It was a few feet away from the first.
All my boys have spurs, someone mentioned seeing that in one of my boys in the photo meaning he could be fertile. So all are fertile?
I don't have an incubotor, otherwise I would try it out. If I crack one will it have a halo like chickens eggs when they are fertile?

Do you know anyone close by with an incubator? Sometimes you can find folks on craigslist that will incubate for a minimal fee. Maybe you can get some in there for say 10 days and that will determine the fertility, you might be surprised. I just hate wasting an egg to be honest. If you were near centex I would help you no issues,

Cracking one will not hurt, at least you will know if they are fertile or not, then you could decide if you want to get incubator or not, usually first egg isn't fertile.

By the way, i was talking about the sharp spurs not any spurs, all yearlings will have spurs but only being sharp means the male is ready. Is there a peacock fanning a lot?

So 3rd egg layed today a foot away from the 2nd. I took the first and cracked it. The halo doesn't look like a fertilized chicken egg halo, but there was a definite white spot and ring around it. I can't afford an incubator, I wish I knew someone with one.

Take a close up of the next one and we'll help you,
