Hello all, on this thread you can show off your pigeons and doves. You can upload as many pictures as you would like.

I’ll start with my two of my pigeons. The female is on the left and the male on the right. They are brother and sister and they are crossbreds.

I think these are all my birds lol. Lower left is "Frost," named him that because he was incubated, hatched and raised as a squab during the winter when daytime temps were in the single digit (F) and nighttime way below zero. Lower right splash blue bar hen is Miss Checkers, I got her from a racer, she is 3/4 Detroit Bekaert 1/4 Janssen and was in the top 20% for this race region 2016 YB. Hoping for nice birds from her and her mate (next to her), who is a total a-hole lol. Second from bottom on the right is a hen of mine with no name, but she's one of my fav's, her and her mate (one on the right on the v-perch, name is Drogo) have been very succcessful breeders of 3 clutches now, two of those babies of which have been sent to a racer's loft to race. They are producing excellent YBs, except one common denominator in their offspring is that they are VERY feisty and borderline mean, they sort of run the show and pick a lot of fights. Very assertive bloodline, hoping they do well. Top left is a hen of mine named Growly because all she does is growl, and in the nest box below her is her mate, with no name. Top right is one of my only cock birds without a mate, since he lost his mate last fall when she did not return from a loft flight, and there are no hens in my loft for him to pair up with. Poor guy. Nice bird though. All my birds except the Bekaert splash hen are from the Janssen line. As you can see, most of them are slightly chubby from a long winter of no flying.

Very nice! Why can't AP lend you 2 hens for your bachelors? :D

This is my mixed pair (my first photos I posted are some their offspring) the male is the white and the female is the brown. I’m thinking the female is some generation of king pigeon as she is a large bird and has small wings compared to my other pigeons. I’m not too sure about the male though, he looks to me like a cross. By the way everyone has some very nice photos of their birds :wee
