She’s beautiful!!Though i don’t have parakeets anymore, i own the sweetest little pineapple green cheek conure. Her name is Cleo!View attachment 2074633View attachment 2074634View attachment 2074635
I used to have a cage about that size for my 2 parakeets. Found it on Craigslist and talked them down to $30. Best deal ever. They ended up giving me a ton of perches and food and bags and bags of toys for them. Even a perch stand for them. Well. It seemed great for the parakeets. The Taj Mahal of parakeet houses. They can get through those bars so be very very careful. I lost one of them that way. The top, where there's a little space, she squeezed out and I woke up to feathers all over the floor. I never figured out if she flew into the fan or what happened, but it was terrible. I weaved wire/string all around the edges just to be safe after that. And I know she got out that way because the next day the other one came out of the cage that way. I just don't want you to wake up to the same thing i did.Pride & Disaster (aka Dizzy) MIGHT possibly, maybe, probably be THE most spoiled parakeets on the planet.finally got their new cage all set up and decorated lol hope they appreciate it!! Might have to get them some new friends to go with their new cage

Oh wow that is a good deal!! I think I got this one one for about $80 or $90 on Chewy which isn’t as good a deal as $30 but is still pretty good since it’s like $200 some places. It’s actually gone up $40 in Chewy since I got mine. Just checked.I used to have a cage about that size for my 2 parakeets. Found it on Craigslist and talked them down to $30. Best deal ever. I bet!! It sounds traumatic!Thank you, it's been a few years since it happened but it still haunts me. I now no longer have parakeets. I do however have 50 other birds
I have a goffins cockatoo, rescue, who is missing toes. He absolutely hates everyone but me. One time he flew off into a tree and my mom acted like she was beating me up and he dive bombed her...
I also have a retarded cockatiel who can't fly. Actually the only bird we bought from a breeder and the vet deemed him retarded.
Then I have a lovebird, quail, a turkey, chickens (polish frizzle, polish, silkies, americauna etc), and some ducks. They're all my babies and I love them more than anything. Spoiled rotten too.View attachment 2074972View attachment 2074982View attachment 2074984 our ducklings were even special... Had to wrap Aflacs legs up 24/7View attachment 2074985View attachment 2074987View attachment 2074988View attachment 2074989View attachment 2074990View attachment 2074991 Charles sleeps in bed with me, I'm not afraid of crushing him. I wake up every time I roll over and he sleeps on my pillow or on my shoulder anyway.
Thanks lolI bet!! It sounds traumatic!
And oh wow that’s hilarious.
Also when you said you had 50 birds I thought you meant 50 house/caged birds
Thanks lol
And Oh god... I had 12 parrots at one time because I would take in the parrots people weren't taking care of or didn't have time for.... Most of them were special needs like my old blue and gold macaw Boo, he had a humped spine. I rehomed a few of them once I could get them to stop plucking or better. One of my quakers came to me with a open wound and bad infection from where he plucked. Poor little baby. He had a girlfriend too but when they started laying eggs I chose to re-home them. I made sure everyone had good homes, but we had to move and I wouldn't have my aviary room any longer.
