My silverudds blue They come in 3 colours and some variations within each variety, but the main 3 are blue, splash and black, and mine is blue, so you could say he is a silverudds blue - blue. Swedish breed that lays greenish eggs.

I’ve got a nice white jap roo but don’t have a pic of him right now.

Brown red Japanese bantams are really rare, however, grey Japanese bantams are the same pattern, just in silver, and they’re much more common.

This is Comet, he is just over 5 months old. Both he and his sister (?), in the background, hatched from blue eggs marked Ameraucana, but I am assuming they are Olive EggersView attachment 2958380

As it turns out, Phantom, the sister, lays a light green egg that looks like it would still be on the Ameraucana egg chart( I don't have a chart, but have seen pictures online)

Yeah I kind of figured they were. I’ve seen pictures the gray ones.

Next year I’m going to breed him to my white black tailed jap hen. To get pullets that are black patterned gold -necked/birchen, then I’m going to breed those pullets back to the brown red roo to get cockerels, and then breed them together and try to make my own line of brown red.

He looks beautiful! I also have one though he is a bit young, just started Crowing! He is very sweet and almost never causes trouble, he hatched at the end of April this year!!!
