I say there, now that's a nice looking rooster! Which ancestors provided the feathers on the legs? Which, I'm sure are numbered just in case of an emergency![]()

I do think they take a little longer to grow, but in the end, I love the look!X 2

Hmm...I've never really thought about it. I like both, I like the "spikes" on the straight combs, my BO has them and it gives him a punky look sometimes(so far he is very well behaved, no aggression). The rose comb is quite regal looking and I can see where it might be more desirable with cold temps. So...I will have to study up on them.![]()
One question though, does it seem the rose combs take a lot longer to develop than straight. Most of my straight comb breeds have nice combs-girls and boy, but the wyandottes rose comb is still really small.
