Interesting you should mention the straight comb. While observing my silkie babies today, I noticed 3 of the six have what appears to be a straight comb. I thought it was odd. I did purchase them from TSC so I know they are not of show quality. They are only 2.5 weeks old. I don't know if the comb will change.or not.I have six beautiful silkies! They are all very tame!There's just two colors that I can't figure out. Does anybody know what color this silkie is? Her name is Cottontail, and she's a real sweetie. You can't see it in the picture, but in addition to the light beigish coloring, she has some black specks.![]()

He is 15/16 silkie and 1/16 bantam Cochin (hence the straight comb). He is a real sweetie and loves having 5 mistresses (all silkie hens).
