show quality speckled sussex ??

Pics
Thanks all. When I ever have any birds or eggs for sale I'll let everyone know.

i will get some pictures one day this week so we can try our hands at critiquing them. They have not been handled much so are a little flighty so I don't know how good pictures I can get, but I'll do my best. They will come around my feet fine, but don't like to be picked up. I have a camper for them to use for housing and they love to run up under that thing if I reach out to them and it is hard to get them out! LOL.

Here is a picture of one of the young SS roosters.

Here is the last one I'll put up tonight. Snowbird, I sure wish you lived nearby so you could help me with breeding these birds.

Orange Ribbon, those girls look wide all the way to the tails!
That is a very good thing - - - it is indicative of wide tails ( not pinched ones).

Thanks for the comments! Those SS have bodies shaped like little cinderblocks with a plumb chest. Solid little boogers. The mahogany is deer and rich. Some have more speckles than others. The older birds have just molted so they look pretty rough.

Anyway, I don't mean to keep tootin' my horn. I know they are not plumb perfect, and I will put some pictures that can be used to critique some other things about them when I get the chance. Our power was out all day yesterday and the rain made a mess so I have some things to get squared away first. I'm interested in learning all about the good, what needs to be fixed and how to do it.
