I have some chicks I may be willing to ship! I have lavenders, a porcelain, and some splits. I have showgirls and silkies in these colors. I have tomorrow off so I will look into how to ship and where to get the boxes and I can let you know!

I am looking for a breeder who would be willing to send some Silkie Showgirl hatching eggs to the United Kingdom please, if this you could you either leave a reply or contact me by PM.

They are very rare over here and myself and another breeder are looking to introduce them here.

I will keep everyone posted once I learn more about shipping! I have plenty to go around lol! If anyone is close enough for pick up I have some available now.


As for eggs...I am a hatchohaulic so I put all of mine in the bator. I think shipping eggs to the UK from here is illegal. If it weren't we would have tons of cream legbars and chocolate orpingtons here already! LOL!

You could always start your own sg lines there though with a NN x silkie cross. Do you guys have Naked Necks/Turkens there? From what I have heard it dosn't take as many generations as you would think. To perfect them is another thing that we are still working on also!

OKay guys, as of seven this morning it was officially Day 21 for two of the eggs, and at 6:00 pm tonight it will officially be day 21 for the other two.

So far there is nothing, nothing, nothing, more nothing, and a whole lot of nothing going on. I am trying my very hardest not to get discouraged. Last night I had a dream that i hatched out a cat. A cat and a brahma...

gosh i hope these little dudes are just late bloomers! fl

I have relatives in Illinois so if it was illegal to send eggs from your state to the UK it may not be in Illinois. A fellow breeder I know here in the UK ships her 100 % Chocolate Orpington L/F & Bantam hatching eggs to the U.S.

Something worth looking into.
