Gave one of our Showgirls a bath today, plus our silkie cockerel. I found 2 black feathers on the Showgirl. One on her back and one on wing. Is this just considered a flaw or does it indicate she carries a gene other than white? You cannot see them when she is dry, I only found them when she was soaking wet.

once I let them back outside they got fluffier and almost immediately pooped and stepped in it

I wonder if you guys would give me your opinion on the gender of my 6 month old blue showgirl. I'm thinking pullet, but want some opinions:

This isn't the best picture, but most of the shots I got of her were blurry. Of course it rained the night before and she got muddy.
