Well sewincircle I think I'm going to break down and get another dozen or 2 from Angie an about 2 weeks after my auraconas hatch out. I just noticed that my partridge showgirl is a clean neck she has no bowtie she is really cute .
 
Wooohooo! More babies!!! One of my partridge has a bowtie the other is clean neck. They are just adorable!! Did you see mochas??? She has some beautiful colors. I am jealous. hehehe. Just kidding. I love everyone that we have. I want to see what everyones look like as they get bigger though. Mine are begining to get tail feathers. Danny, yours must be getting sooo big!!! I cant wait til you get your new eggs!! We have two more hatches as well! What a busy group we are!!

Hi All, Just seperated the showgirl into two pens. One group has: buff, red, and partridge. The other pen has: white, black, blue and splash.
For those who have purchased showgirl/silkie eggs from me before throught this thread, I am offering 6-8 test eggs for free, all you pay is postage/shipping of $9.
Danny is on the list for the splash group, I will start next week Feb 15, hopefully by than the eggs will hatch out what the colors are from that pen.

In fact they hide eggs from me all the time so that they could sit. Showgirl have the same temperment as silkie but without feather on their neck.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. Losing the last little chick was sad. Hatching is an emotional rollercoaster! I don't think I could do it all the time

Icedmocha, I know how you feel. My first hatch last year I lost everyone of them. I dont know what happened. I was so leary hatching again. I did it and now have these little guys. It is a roller coaster like you said. Happy one minute and sad the next. When it was all done I needed to rest a day. You and your mom did great!! Are you going to do the test batch for Angie? I wish I could but my DH has taken my incubator away. hehehe He says I have enough chicks in the house! Imagine that! humph!!!!
