I'm afraid to say, we lost all of ours due to temps. We went and bought a digital thermometer/hygrometer and an eggs turner so we can try again. Just waiting for the hens to lay our eggs now.

I just put 22 in my incubator the eggs were only around 8 or 9 days old so hopefully I will have some luck but this is my 1st time trying this I just did every thing the instructions to the incubator said to do so I will see.

Icedmocha, I am so sorry. This time of the year is tough. I live in NY and it is really cold here too. My first batch is not developing either. UPS was too hard on them. I will be getting more soon. Now that the holidays are over mail should be a bit more on track. Ya know? I sure hope your next batch is okay!
Danny, the directions are good to follow. Everything I have done is textbook. I am afraid to do anything else!

Please keep us updated. Thanks.

Actually, the temps were way too high. We used the thermometer that was with the bator- bad idea. A lot of chicks developed and then died. We thought the temp was right because they were growing. I read about calibrating the thermometer too late.
Danny- I hope you have a reliable thermometer! This was our first attempt at hatching, too. Hopefully, you'll have better luck, and not make the same mistakes we did!
I feel terrible for my mom, this was one of her holiday gifts. I'm determined for her to hatch some healthy chicks!
