How is the hatching???? I just put some showgirls in the bator yesterday! They are from Angie!! I sure hope they hatch. I would candle but I dont know what to look for and my flashlight isnt doing the trick. I cant wait to see pictures.

I hatched eight--but a lost two to my own stupidity. The little wire bottom on the hatcher had curled up and I didnt think anything about it and they got stuck under it and drowned.

The rest are doing great.

Well, I don't think Mom is going to get any chicks from the first batch. It's our fault, I think. We were hand turning them, which means opening the bator. Let's all cross our fingers for the last lone egg due next week

Angie sent us a second batch of eggs when our first order was lost in the mail. Several started to develop, then quit. At day 14, we only had this one left. I have a feeling, though, that this chick is going to make it!
