Showing at a county or state fair - question..

To ride the rides at our fair, you have to have a wristband or stamp on your hand. We've had animals at the fair for several years, and each year, if we identify ourselves to the people at the gate as exhibitors, they've given us no trouble about letting us in. Of course, now that I have an *official* name tag, they usually smile and shoot the breeze, too!

At our state fair they feed & water the birds for the duration of the fair. You get 2 free admission tickets so you can come for the actual judging, and for a visit during the remainder of the week, and also a pass for picking them up. But you don't free admission for each day.

The person whom is in charge of the chickens raises chickens himself. He's there everyday to make sure that the chickens have water.

I don't have to pay as long as I get there before 4:00 PM. Mainly because I replace the baked goods in the Country Store, visit my chickens, and watch a horse show or 3.
