Sick 11 week old chick

Ok.
Can you get a spoon....hold it to her beak with water on it.
See if she will drink that.
Scramble an egg...see if she will eat that.

How does her crop feel?
Is it full or empty?
What do you feed them...do they have access to grit?

the first picture she looks to have a large bump..or something on the lower chest..it's hard to tell with the color of her feathers and lighting....am I not seeing something right.
Does it look normal up there (the chest area) to you?

I got her to stand, no weird lump (there's a blue chick right behind her laying down in the first pic)and her crop is empty. Still won't eat or drink. I tried a scrambled egg right before I put her in the house. She had 2 bites or so. :(

She is probably in full on scared mode right now trying to figure out where the heck she is. (the breathing)

Sand doesn't help grind up food. fyi.

If her crop is empty she is not eating.
As long as you can get some water in her she should be ok for a while.
Can you get a dropper and drop some water on her beak?
A q tip will work too.

Ok will do the water with a qtip, thanks so much for the help. Should I put her back with the others in the morning?

I thought I read sand/small pebbles can be used as grit? Is that wrong? They have construction sand so there are small rocks.
