Welcome To BYC

I'm sorry Marry-Kate is not doing well.

Does she have any lesions inside her beak?
Any lice/mites?

She's not laid an egg in a while, I'd give her 300mg Calcium Citrate+D3 now, then once daily for 5 days, see if she's able to expel an egg.

You mention she's got something going on with the foot, a brown spot? Do you have a photo of that?

I'd also give her 1/4tablet B-Complex daily. Cut out the Apple Cider Vinegar.
Let me tag someone else @Wyorp Rock
thank you!

Thank you for your response! She has definitely not laid an egg since at least Sunday. I’ve been giving her vitamins but I’ll definitely pick up more tmrw to give specific dosages. I also stopped apple cider vinegar yesterday and switched to ampro just in case this is cocci. Every morning I give her scrambled eggs with oregano and thyme along with scratch and grit. This morning I gave her yogurt as well which she was all about. I’ve checked everything on her and have noted the following issues which I am not sure if are issues of their own or symptoms:
-Missing feathers from her upper neck right under her beak (I see her pulling at the remaining ones occasionally) red upset folicals where feathers are missing
-feathers on back slightly raised
-lameness in left leg (picture of bottom of foot included)
-slight ambition for food but not so much for water
-potential scaley-leg mites
-no presence of crop after she eats. Haven’t felt one on her in two days.
-darker green poop with yellow dinged urine (hard form like broody poop)
-Comb parish but better than first day
-yesterday she clenched her left toes but today she didn’t seem to.
-occasional standing when I’m cleaning her bed, but not real movement other than occasional shuffle waddle (uses wing to catch her fall)
-panting occasionally when she seems a little stressed

Here is a list of things I haven’t noticed:
-no lice
-no worms in poop
-no drooling or puffy eyes or eye drainage
- vent clear
- no feeling of egg stuck inside
-no foul breath
-no cuts in mouth or extremities
-no greasy poops
-no Cecil poops either actually
- no drowsiness

Maybe this information helps! :) thank you for your help!

The foot looks to have Footpad Dermatitis, keep bedding and the feet dry.

Treating for Coccidiosis with Amprolium won't hurt. Be sure to give the correct dosing, I'll post that below.

There's an odd poop in the photo, do you still have that? Any layers to it?

Liquid Corid dose is 2tsp or Powdered Corid Dose is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
Do not add any extra vitamins/electrolytes that contain B1(Thiamine) to food or water during the course of treatment.

Perfect! I’ve been following the bottle but it’s not corid brand. Oh and that in the picture is actually scrambled eggs, she was attacking it yesterday and flung it all over her bed area which is why it go there. Sorry I should have cropped the picture. What should I treat the dermatitis with? I noticed her sister Ashley has it too but it doesn’t seem to bother her. None of my others have it. Their living space is really dry, we actually had 100 degree weather most of last week. Could she possibly be suffering from heat stroke? Sunday when I noticed she was off was the hottest day we’ve had in a while. I gave them electrolytes and ice, but they were still panting pretty good.

I had wondered if that was food😅

The Dermatitis, keep the foot cleaned and dry. With her not being well, I don't think I'd mess with it too much. Once she's up and better, then you can address it. The first link is what I would start with, if the Dermatitis does not improve, then move on to the second.

Heat stroke is a possibility. See that she's drinking well and continue to try to get her to eat something. When they are poorly, try different things. A lot of time melon (watermelon), tomato or small pieces of cucumber are enticing. Try wetting her food. The egg is good. Bits of sardines.
Once better, they will start eating their normal food.

Thank you so much for all the advice! I got all the vitamins and watermelon along with following the dermatitis page instructions! After looking over her today, I’m thinking this may be leg mites and dermatitis all over. Her toes are starting to turn black on one of her feet and the redness where her feathers are missing on her neck looks more like a rash. I’ve added pictures to see what you think :)

Were the feet wrapped?

The toes turning pink/red like that is concerning. If you have a vet that can see her, it would be a good idea.

Possibly she has SLM, you can apply some oil or ointment to the legs/feet to smother them.

Does she have any Mites on the body?

With her age and symptoms, you may be dealing with Marek's, it can be hard to know.

No wrapping but I did get ahold of a vet who also shared her concerns about the purple and might be able to see her tmrw. Fingers crossed it’s something that can be treated

I hope the vet is able to see her.

Let me know what you find out.
