From my experience: If a chick begins to show progression in getting worse they are most likely not going to make it. Did the nephew attempt to drown the chic? I guess I do not understand the question that is being asked.

Im guessing he did or he was trying to make him drink water.. I just wanna know what to do he dried up already im just wondering do i keep him warm ?

Yep just keep him warm and in the brooder. How old is he?

The fact that the chick is dry is good. When they dont dry off it is not good.
