Sick chicken lathergic, spitting up yellow clear liquid

Thank you all for your replies. We ended up taking her to the vet yesterday since she was looking really bad and we didnt know how to help her and could not watch her suffering. When we were there she threw up massive amounts of that clear yellow liquid and was almost choking on it. The vet said that she was in very bad condition and was beyond treatment and he suggested we euthanise her which we did :-(
She deffinitly had something more then just an impacted crop.

So sorry for your loss. It would good if they had done a necropsy. You can get one done in most states by the state vet or poultry lab, to look for a cause of death. I had a hen die the other day with a crop problem. During my necropsy, all I found was a gizzard and crop full of horrible black mush that had blocked her digestive tract.
