Sick chicken. Need help on diagnosis

We’re you using the probiotics while using the sulfa 3? If so make sure that the probiotics did not have vitamins if you were using it for coccidiosis. If the probiotics contain thiamin it will not be as effective in the treatment for coccidiosis.
I think that only pertains to amprollium or Corid, not sulfa antibiotic. Amprollium works by mimicing thiamine in coccidia, so any supplementing of thiamine should not be done with amprollium.

No I made sure to just strictly put the antibiotic in her water. I’ve read cocci loves vitamins so I’m careful.

These are Indi’s poo’s at the moment. She had a little bit of blood in one last night :( I really need immediate help. I put oxymav in her water because I was scared she wouldn’t make it through the night

Have you treated at all with a coccidiostat? Was there a coccidiostat in the sulfa meds? That could be the problem - coccidiosis that hasn't been fully treated.

Since she's been on sulfa for a while, it's not a med you want to keep giving over a long period. Call your pet stores and ask for Cocciprol or similar product under other brand names.

I do have cocciprol. The sulfa 3 says it treats coccidiosis. But am I better off giving her the cocciprol then?

Yes. It can do no harm. It may well save her life. Mix it into water according to directions on the package, but in addition to that, give her a drench dose right way. Load up an oral syringe with undiluted amprolium about .5ml and give it straight into the right side of her beak like this photo. Do this once today and tomorrow once and the third day once and this is in addition to the drinking water mix.

The amprolium I have is a powder, so am I better off just making a paste for her drench? Thank you so much! Hopefully she perks up!
