it is my understanding that if your chicken is on medication-not just VetRx as ours are but meds yours is on-do not eat while on meds.

Yesterday my friend that have a lot experience with chickens went with me to tractor supply and we bought penicillin and we have 1cc for the chicken and 1.5cc for jimmy today they doing much better the chicken run from me was fun to chase her in the yeard hahaha but i will leave her 2 weeks before i put her back with the flock , jimmy jump on me when i try to catch him today i check him hes doing good thanks for everything everyone y'll are bless my life with all the informafions i deeply appreciate. My personal favorite antibiotic is denegard. You have to buy it online. I got mine from amazon. It has no egg withdrawal and the chickens can't become resistant to it. A big bottle lasts along time and you can dose monthly to keep the viruses away. I dose anytime I see a runny nose. Since using denegard that is the worst symptom I have seen in over a year.
Tylan would be good for respiratory illness. As @ambergds mentions, Denagard is good for Mycoplasma and respiratory illness as well.

Penicillin is more suited for wounds, bumblefoot, enteritis, bacteria, etc.

Glad to hear she is better, she's looking good. Yes, waiting a little while longer to put her back with the flock to make sure she is fully recovered is a wise thing to do.

How is Jimmy?
