Sick Chicken: Urgent Help Please

Are you sure it is mites and not lice? Pictures of the eggs on feathers would be good. With lice eggs at the base of feathers, most people retreat in 10 days to get the newly hatched eggs before they reproduce. I would not trim feathers with eggs. Sorry I never responded. She's doing fine now. Based off of the link you sent it looked more like it would be lice eggs. She still has some small clusters on her beard and I'm not sure how to get rid of them. As far as I can tell though there are no live lice on her. She I dusting regularly now (not by us).
