I got these two chickens on April 29. One always seemed a bit off balance but not sick in anyway. As time went on one grew a nice comb and wattle while the others was small and pale. Neither one is laying.
Yesterday she just started listing to the right. Today she runs around a bit then just falls over and lays down for awhile. Otherwise looks fine no injuries and is eating and drinking.

Try to see if she can move her toes and feet, or if it seems her leg is paralyzed. Start her on a poultry vitamin with some trace minerals daily. Poultry Booster is a good one, and it can be sprinkled into feed with a little oil or water so that it sticks to the feed. Whatever vitamin you choose, make sure the label has riboflavin.

She's not paralyzed because she was walking around quite a bit today. I sure am worried about her. Hope she's not contagious. I do have her separated but it probably too late now.
Thanks for your reply. Will try the vitamins.

I would not separate her. Mareks can be over diagnosed, but something to be aware of. If she has been exposed to Mareks, so have the other chickens as well. The main thing is to help her get plenty to eat and drink, give her the vitamins, and watch for any new symptoms.

Update
Gave vitamins today. She eats and drinks fine.
Eyes are clear. Still unable to stand or walk for long.
Content laying in the carrier. Hubby and I are wondering when we should consider culling.

Is she still able to walk? I would give her some time to see if the vitamins have an affect. There is no need to be in a hurry to cull her if she is eating and drinking, and doesn't appear to be suffering. If she has a vitamin deficiency or an injury to a leg, it can take some time to recover. Injuries can also make them appear to be lame. If she can get up and walk, that is a good thing. I would consider getting a necropsy if you do cull her if she gets worse, because it would be good to know if your flock was exposed to Mareks.

Thank you for all your help.
