One of our hens seems to be lame in one leg. She holds it up constantly, tries not to be on her feet that much, and limps around. It’s been going on for the past couple days. I’ve examined her feet to look for signs of cuts, scrapes, sores, but most importantly signs of Bumble Foot. She has a cut on one but it looks scabbed over at this point? I don’t believe it’s Bumble Foot. But she’s also stopped laying eggs for the past couple weeks. We’ve had her for about 3 years, so is she just done laying? Or are the problems connected somehow? Any advice would be great! She’s just not acting like herself. :(

Post a picture is she eating and pooping? Are her eyes cloudy? Is she having trouble breathing? Check her leg to see if it's been injured and sore. If not it could be a disease.

I’ll get a picture in the morning. I feel like her poop is pretty normal. Her eyes are normal.

But recently we’ve had another hen die of what I think was a respiratory illness.
We couldn’t find any medicine that would work on her. So sadly she passed away.

I thought the hen with the sore foot was starting to catch the same thing. She was coughing, sneezing, very raspy. Then she was fine a day later. I’ve never had a chicken that’s went through this so I don’t know what to do? I have no clue if everything is connected? We have no vets that work on chickens around my area. I have no clue what to due. I’ll get a picture in the morning for sure.

Could it be coicididis? Section her off from the other chickens and see if her health improves. Good luck!!
