I have a 3 y/o RIR (?) age could be more or less she is a rescue
I have had her for 4 weeks no issues - she was given to a guy who has peacocks and banty's he does not have standards so he gave her to me -
today she was in the nest box and got up no egg - had a prolapse - she is now gasping for air when she breaths
Could it be gape worms or something infectious - no other symptoms ?
she is now isolated in the basement in dog crate - i have to treat for prolapse and something else now-
she is under a red light - will that do for the prolapse ?
edited to make more sense
