Sick of the pecking - what works best - nose rings or peepers?

Hi all,

i have had it with the pecking!! we had no pecking for about 10 months, but now they are going at it all of the time. a couple of my chicks have no feathers on their heads or tails, no bleeding so far, but am afraid it will come to that. I am not sure who is doing it, so want something that I can do for all 11 of them. i don't think it is the rooster.

what works the best and stays on them- the nose rings or peepers? I don't have the heart to clip their beeks.

When you look at your hens, do you notice that one or two of them have all their feathers? If you do notice this, they are probably the one's doing the feather picking.

That was the case the last time I had a problem in my chicken house.
