Sickly geese

I can add two ideas at the moment. One is an idea I was recently made aware of. Use gardening fence with the wide holes to surround the food bowl. Stretch the holes so they are big enough for the fowl heads.
What I really recommend is a PVC elbow feeder. Take any bucket with a lid, cut off the end of a PVC elbow, and slip it through a hole in the side of the bucket. Put some feed on the lip to help the birds figure it out.
I’m sorry I’m too lazy to crop the photos.

This is actually the feeder I see a lot of goat owners using. Add a weight to the top to keep the goats from knocking it over.
You can buy it pre-made for $60 :gig

Thank you all for the advice. I cannot get the vitamin B complex anywhere, but I’ve found some dog vitamin B tablets that I crushed up. To feed my geesies I put the flock feed on the ground while the goats were distracted and the geese actually got a bit aggressive when they tried to steal it from them. Win for the waterfowl! When I raised my ducks they got cat food to help bolster protein levels in the food(all you do to doctor duck food lol) I put some in the water pan for the geese along with a little bit of corn so they would know it was food and low and behold one decided to hop in the pan so only he could eat. I’m hoping that’s a good sign. It’s only been a few days, but they are already seeming happier. Thank you again.
