Yes, I am familiar with that poem too, for, oddly enough, the same reason as mum(no we're not British I just like to call her that

)

She kept that comic around, and I loved it as a little kid! Though I stopped reading it as much once I discovered that: there were books that had more words! Lots more! And soon enough I was reading chapter books. Now most books I read have 20-30 chapters, and I could finish any one of them within 2 days!

Though I do still enjoy a good manga now and again

Anyways, I find it ironic that I can recall repeatedly reading that particular strip before bed, and getting a sense of calmness despite the eerie nature of it. Guess I could appreciate the arts even back then, when I was still doing the sloppy art known as "Finger Painting"
