All of Alaskan's poultry have suddenly developed some very perplexing condition where they have all shed out an ENORMOUS amount of dust, all at the same time!

WHAT shall Alaskan do? The poor poultry!

Did they just finish molting? If so this is the dander from the 'sheathing'on the new feathers as they were developing.

I need to stay in the Kingdom! Yesterday I ventured out into cyberland and read the comments on several of the George Zimmerman articles.

The world is filled with haters. They hate blacks, whites, Mexicans, all other Hispanics, old, young, Democrats, Republicans, the Tea Party, the North, the South, city people, 'rednecks', educated, uneducated------------------- and the list goes on. When they lay down in their beds at night filled with all of that hate, how do they manage to sleep?

With Righteous indignation of course!

I bet it takes a lot of energy to hate that much too....They likely sleep very deeply.

Alaskan, your neighbors are gonna get really cross with you if your flock continues to make such a mess . . . .

Critter called me up this morning, and said, "You know how sometimes when you're having a rough day, knowing that somebody is worse off can kind of cheer you up? How's this for somebody having a rough day?" He then told me about a 747 that landed at the wrong airport in Wichita last night, and how they feared the runway wasn't long enough to let it take off. I had some music playing in another room as we were talking, and I suddenly realized what song I was hearing - John Denver singing "Leaving on a Jet Plane."

(Incidentally, they did get the plane off without incident, and it landed at the correct airport earlier today.)

All of that dust is swirling around in difficult to see through clouds right now!

Alaskan is not sure how such a small flock of poultry can manage to produce several inches of dust, covering the entire neighborhood. It must be the fault of the not yet eaten geese!
