Yes, it was tragic... Apparently he was doing some repairs on it and the jack went out. As I phrased it to Tani, "I may be a b****y ex-girlfriend but at least I'm a really nice b****y ex-girlfriend."
To avoid awkwardness, we're taking our respective younger siblings to a showing of Oz, The Great and Powerful that a local business is sponsoring in the park. Nice and casual, with plenty of small minions running around.
