Traditionally, nudity and sauna is a very accepted thing here, but for some younger people it seems to be more difficult, people aren't comfortable in their bodies. But a sauna isn't supposed to be a sexual experience in any way, it's a place of relaxation and meditation.

Sam, that was a large portion of my Spanish vocabulary. We went to the Dominican Republic to celebrate Karin's mothers birthday some years ago, I had a very interesting discussion with a gardener there when I was trying to get him to help me get a bouquet of flowers as a present. It took about half an hour for us to understand each other, who would have thought "flowers" is "flores" in Spanish. I finally got him to understand me by showing the number 50 on a 50 peso note, saying the word "años" (years), and pointing at flowers and miming a picking motion. I then tipped him 100 pesos, I think that was probably his weekly salary or something, at least the grin on his face was quite extraordinary. We got a flower assortment outside our cabaña every morning after that.
