*sigh* I'm loosing my touch. (Warning: Hi-jacked by Em)

Okay Buckethead, let me tell you what I know about parades.

I'm old, and I'm smart. Learned me a thing or two in my life, I have.

I use to walk in them parades when I didn't know any better.
Now I know driving in one is much easier.

Even better if I can get someone else to drive while I just wave.
(I can even catch a nap during the parade.)

Spook

But we were asked to march. And march we did.

But let me tell you guys something.... It's not fun being directly in front of Santa Claus. You hear everybody cheering and waving, and about 2% of those people are cheering for you. We did have one mom yell, "YAY, JROTC!!" but it's no fun when you're the one doing all the hard work while Santa sits on his backside and gets to throw the candy and get all the appreciation.

Joking aside, it was a blast. Even if we're under-appreciated.

Desktops cannot be shown. Wyandottes, on the other hand, can. I hate my iPad, did I mention that?

In other news, I entered a drawing for a BQ pair of bantam RIR along with maybe 40 other people (it was a lovely pair!) And out of all those people, guess whose 1 ticket got picked????

Mine!!!

So Madison and Washington are chillin' in the quarantine coop for now, until the bantam coop is ready for them, the silkies, and the wyandotte to occupy it.

You wouldn't be bad-mouthing dar old Santa Claus, would you
Eenie?

That's not smart...He keeps a naughty and nice list.

Bad-mouthing little girls go to the coal list.

Me, I would NEVER bad mouth Santa. I know better.

Pfff, that's just cause Santa is your little brother! Little brother, because he is only a few hundred years old.

Last nights brownies did not turn out as yummy as I hoped (from a box) - now I found my best ever brownie recipe, so making more tonight (hopefully my kids will eat them without the celery...).

Eenie, you can never outshine Santa. At least on St. Patrick's Day you will only have to compete with leprechauns (and maybe Irish Dancers).

I'm too old to worry about Santa. Just as long as he brings me
some candy, it's all good.

However...you bucketheads.

Different story.

You girls probably made this years naughty list a while back.
What with the hand-holding and all, never listening to your
elders. It drove poor Em bonkers until she ended up in the
hospital, poor thing.
